The Documentary: An Introduction
Filmmaker Andrew Droz Palermo began work with the White Rabbits in late summer 2007 during a short two-week tour to Colorado for Monolith Festival. Beautiful HD footage was produced that berthed the unavoidable desire to go all in and start filming full time. Now all facets of band-life are being covered - from writing and recording - to playing live and touring.

The full-length documentary feature is currently in production, being simultaneously shot and edited. An early 2009 completion is expected.

About the White Rabbits

White Rabbits have succeeded in realizing a tremendously vibrant and creative debut record with “Fort Nightly.” They communicate joy without being cloying or saccharine, and the listeners could easily find themselves clapping along to any one of the darker moments. White Rabbits combine style and panache, both musical and personal, for a thoroughly fresh and unexpected experience. They consist of Matt Clark, Alex Even, Jamie Levinson, Steve Patterson, Greg Roberts and Adam Russell. They formed in central Missouri and later moved to Brooklyn, New York in 2005 where they met their manager and record producer Aaron Romanello and Chris Zane (Les Savy Fav, Shy Child) respectively.

Currently they are embarking on a tour with dates in the US with Spoon and The Walkmen. Afterwards, they will take time off to continue writing and begin recording their sophomore record, expected to be released in early 2009 on their new label TBD.
